The Conservatory at Calcot recently welcomed Executive Chef Richard Davies in August 2017, who joined us from The Celtic Manor in South Wales, where launched and headed up the resort’s fine dining restaurant, Epicure. Prior to Epicure, he attracted a loyal following as Executive Chef at The Manor House in Castle Combe near Bath, where he gained a Michelin star.
Head Chef John Jewel steers the offerings at The Gumstool Inn at Calcot, our a traditional English country pub complete with fireside grill, serving real ales and excellent food made with top quality, seasonal local produce. Your children are also taken care of with food that we know they’ll love.
Also joining us in August 2017 at The Painswick, Head Chef Jamie McCallum was senior sous chef at Anthony Demetre’s Head Chef at the Michelin-starred Wild Honey restaurant in Mayfair and is already creating a buzz with his clever and creative dishes. (Continued below…)
