From our Executive Chefs to Kitchen Porters, it takes a team of dedicated people to make our kitchens run like the well-oiled machines they are... fast paced and exciting, an environment full of opportunities for progressing within the Collection. Our kitchens provide the perfect training and experience this side of London with forward thinking Chefs and menus to make any Michelin inspector's mouth water... but we don't chase accolades, just happy guests!
We are nothing without our smiling, passionate and all round brilliant front of house teams - from making that perfect "just how you like it" cup of coffee, spilling the beans to guests with local knowledge on special places to visit during their stay to efficiently clearing tables quickly for a busy dinner service - all done with a friendly, nothing is too much trouble attitude. We have opportunities to work within our guest facing teams whether it's on reception, as a host or as part of our dynamic restaurant team in one of our food outlets - each position allows the opportunity to be part of a team of like-minded people within a vibrant working environment. Looking after our guests is our top priority - it's hard work but a fun and rewarding experience too!

Attention to detail your thing? Do you like to see everything in it's place and secretly channel Mrs Hinch? Our Cleaning Champions like everything squeaky clean and sparkling making sure our guests feel completely and utterly looked after from the moment they check in to their countryside retreat to when they sink into those beautifully fluffed up pillows and those crisp fresh sheets. It's not all cleaning though... we like our teams in Housekeeping to be super friendly with our guests ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed yet surrounded by teams who will chat, pass the time of day with them and sort out those little things they may require to guarantee a perfect stay home from home. A job as a Cleaning Champion means you stay fit and active too - no need to have a gym membership as you'll be sure to get your steps in at work!
Liam's story began at our ‘big sister’ hotel Calcot back in 2010 as an apprentice where he soon became a role model for many in the brigade. Liam really started to shine when he left Calcot for the opening of The Painswick in 2016 as Chef De Partie and came into his own when the Head Chef moved on, leaving Liam to step up and lead the kitchen until our current Head Chef, Jamie McCallum came on board. Liam who is a naturally calm and friendly personality in the kitchen continues to be Jamie's right hand man and is a well respected and vital member of the Painswick kitchen team... who knows where the next chapter will take him!
